My nephew dressed up as Batman and the Hulk until he was at least eight. He's ten now, and he may even still do it. I love that about little boys...they stay little and playful for such a long time!
When my middle son was about that age, he also loved dressing up as Spiderman. One night he tiptoed down the stairs and set off the security alarm. When we found him, plastered against the wall in true Spidey form, he declared he wasn't the one who set off the alarm because... he was invisible in his Spiderman costume!
