Spider Boy & Girl

The kids love to dress up in the same costumes. Last year they were Dinosaurs that took over our home. We found these today at Once Upon a Child and they have been having a blast running around playing in them today.

Vet Play

I mentioned before that Caleb's class would be putting books to life and acting out things so on Thursday they were Vet's. They made these at school, brought a stuffed pet to school and acted out loving their pet and taking care of it throughout the day.

Balloon Glow

The balloon glow was beautiful. We were there just in time to watch all the balloons rise. Caleb loved to watch all the flames go into the hot air balloon. One balloon was so big that every once in awhile it would almost touch the ground so were able to play under it. There were so many people there that we lost our friends and once I lost Eric. After that, the kids were in our arms and I was holding onto Eric’s shirt as we walked around.

learned in a few day of showing

I showed Caleb this a couple of times and he became a pro at it in 4 days.

Soccer

As everyone knows Caleb is so excited about soccer.

Caleb plays hard. All the kids had their turn of falling on the ground just in the mist of everyone going for the ball. At one point Caleb had a bloody nose, he continued playing. The coach asked him to go get a drink and he said he didn’t need a drink as he brushed the blood away from his face. Today at practice I will be packing wipes and the first aid kit is in my car ready to go.

These pictures are of his first pratice.

Caleb's school

Caleb is so excited about school starting back up. He gets to go a little longer this year too. Here is what they do each day...
teacher works one on one with each student
recess
music (Kindermusic teacher)
show and tell
lunch and free time
storytime, paperwork, math
snack
exploratory time (they will be reading books, dressing up and bring the books to life)

First day of gymnastics

After Maddie has been crawling all over the couch, jumping off the bed and such we have been feeling that it’s time for Maddie to join gymnastics. She needs a outlet! She had her first class and she did great. She was so excited, listened to the teacher, waited her turn and did great at each thing. She was so cute and did everything will a big smile on her face.
